How to Use TimeToPet

TimeToPet is a database we use to manage clients, buddies’ info, and team members

After logging into your TimeToPet team member account:

Schedule: Here you’ll find an outline of the week with all the jobs you’ve accepted. The corresponding date for the jobs will be highlighted at the top of “Schedule”.

Before starting a job we encourage all team members to :

  • You’ll be greeted with four buttons at the bottom of the app. These four buttons outline your schedule, the clients you’ve been assigned to, mileage (JR recommends a different app to track mileage), and finally app settings.

  • Plan your route accordingly to ensure you arrive within the giving time block for each visit (Click the small triangle in the top right corner of each job to open the address on maps)

  • Read through client & pet details provided so you have an idea of what the visit with be like prior to arriving

  • After clicking client details. Under chat, you can also view past updates/messages, send messages with any questions, or respond to clients.

  • Message Blake, JR, or the given Client or Pet details not provided.

  • Click “Start Timer” button located in the bottom left of the job

  • You’ll notice the timer begin counting down and a draft message button appear.

    • Disregard this until completing the job and focus on the animal/s

  • Proceed to complete scheduled service

  • Upkeep in not exceed the routine care!

  • Don’t forget to take at least one picture of each buddy you are caring for!

After arriving at a job location:

  • Client & (Animal/s)

  • Address

  • Services (Ex. Potty Break, 30-Minute Walk, All-Inclusive Visit)

  • Pets (Keep in mind, some visits will not be for all pets in the home)

Each job with provide you with the following information:

Draft Message Template for each Job:

  • Make sure each animal/s needs were met (Potty opportunity, meds (if applicable), fresh water)

  • Making sure clear photos are sent with your update so owners know their Buddy is happy & healthy

  • Properly communicate (through a typed update) the care you provided while you were with the animals (Whether their buddy went #1 and/or #2, if we refresh their water, if we gave them a treat, gave them attention, played with their critter, etc.)

Upon completing the job:

After writing a visit update & uploading pictures:

Accidents:

  • Animal accidents happen, our clients expect this too.

  • People make mistakes too. Always let the client know if you slip up and move forward to correct the issue.

  • Properly communicate if anyone has a potty accident or tears something up inside the home at the start of the visit.

  • This message should be separate from the visit update, which is sent at the end of our services.

  • Communicating this at the start of the visit and asking if there’s anything the owner would like us to do (other than cleaning up the mess) allows owners an opportunity to respond while we are still at the home rather than sending this info with the update (and we’ve already left).

Be sure that updates go through on time! Otherwise owners will assume nobody came.

Completed Jobs will be highlighted green and have a check mark in the top left corner after completing and submitting update

Most of your time with be spent under the Schedule page (Bottom Left)
